Silicon carbide products
• Single curvature monolithic plates
• Double curvature monolithic plates
• Groin plates
• Products made to customer specifications
Our sintered Silicon Carbide is battle proven
and has been fielded over 5 years, and in this time it has been highly successful competing
with more expensive solutions based on boride carbon.
|
Our sintered Silicon Carbide is ideally suited to
defeating steel and WCAP small calibre threats.
Alumina (FA & Sintox CL) products
• Single curvature monolithic plates
• Double curvature monolithic plates
• Groin plates
• Products made to customer specifications
Designed to defeat even the most challenging of
small calibre armour piercing threats . ISO9001:2000 approved supplier
| Shape Design
Due to slip and pressure casting technologies in our
ceramic manufacturing, we can produce any shape or size in a cost effective manner and with minimum
tooling fees .
Ceramic materials
CERAMOR® is a new functional oxide based composite
which has increased fracture toughness, while the hardness and strength of the alumina were preserved
or improved.
Spall and shock absorber
The polycarbonate spall cover in the front and the
fibre reinforced shock absorber in the back confine the
ceramic component for enhanced ballistic performance.
Multi hit performance
Today’s requirements call for ever-increasing multi -hit
performance in ceramic inserts. CERAMOR® armour
outperforms the competition through tailored ceramic material properties and the utilisation of advanced
composite materials . The strikeface allows much closer
multi-shot capabilities than traditional armour materials.
Strikeface, a unique added value technology
that can be used with any ceramic, it allows integrators to achieve higher ballistic
performance at ultra light areal densities
